Very good stay.

I only stayed one night…but it had a very friendly vibe to it.

For being situated on the 12th floor, I could still hear a lot of stuff going on outside at street view, there must have been a window open which I couldn’t find because the bugged the hell out of me.

Disappointed

Comfortable bed. Great location. Price would have been great if everything promised was available and open.

Restaurants were closed. Sauna was being renovated. Staff seemed confused on what was open and what was not. Staff assured me the sauna was only closed for one day. I found out the next day it was closed for renovating for weeks. The carpet and some furnishings need to be replaced. It was probably an immaculately beautiful hotel 15 years ago. But it is in serious need of updates and better communication with staff.

Very good hotel in a great location with excellent customer service.

Good sized room, very comfortable bed. Excellent location. Loved the Starbucks coffee shop integrated into the hotel lobby. Excellent customer service from hotel staff. Staff had very good English language skills.

As a personal preference, I don't like bath and shower combinations. But the bathroom was extremely clean and had all the conveniences you need while traveling.

Comfortable stay, but improvement in customer service needed.

The bed is very, very comfortable. The rooms are spacious than what you'd get elsewhere nowadays, and are clean. It's my second stay at the Grand.

The staff at the reception don't seem to know what they're doing. First of all, they undercharged me during check-in, then when I was checking out, they told me I hadn't paid for my stay at all. After I left the hotel, they called to tell me about their mistake, and charged my credit card for my second night's stay. The check-out procedure wasted unnecessary time, and I found the staff unprofessional. We were also given a room with a horrible view .

Over-priced for the experience.

The accomodations at the hotel were nice. The staff was friendly and helpful and underground parking was great.

The room itself seemed very dated. The carpets and even the chairs in the room were very stained and seemed old and filthy. The bathroom was not adequately cleaned prior to my arrival and there was dust everywhere. The tile at the entrance to the room had water damage and even had mold. I expected more for one of their mid-level rooms. Someone also placed a coin on my door handle to see when I left the room. Not sure what thats about.

The room was very dated, and in need of refurbishment, particularly the bathroom. Curtains wouldn’t close as designed to and a lack of accessible outlets suggested a room layout and design conceived of before an abundance of tablet/smartphones. The room was too hot, with a pre-set and fixed temperature on the AC. Two calls to reception after 11pm to try to resolve the situation went unanswered. Toilet kept running water all night, too.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was good.

I stayed at the standard deluxe room and it was okay but you can tell the hotel owners don’t really invest into the property. The carpet had a a huge stain, the squared bench also had a stain and it was somewhat wet when I touched it (gross); when I sat on that bench my butt sank in and felt like I was sitting on a hole. The other desk chair seemed fine until I moved a little while sitting and noticed the chair was broken because it leaned to the side making me almost fall. There were multiple phones in the room but the one in the bed stand had a hole (it still worked but it didn’t look good at all). I wouldn’t say this is a luxury hotel, definitely not a 5 star hotel! It felt more like a 3.5-4 star hotel. They need to invest in some kind of renovation but until they do, I won’t be visibly this hotel again. I would also like to mention that the price for its quality is overpriced (even though i booked the room at a moderate sale price).

Grand hotel experience

Excellent hotel to stay at with all the facilities. Fitness center, sauna, spa tubs, convenience store, Starbucks and breakfast. Breakfast buffet was really good with many options and it was included in my stay.

My room smelled a little like cigarettes though and the water kind of smelled like cigarette smoke as well when I showered and I did get nauseous sometimes. But the good outweighed the bad! :) The price for the dinner buffet was a little expensive for what was available so I did not eat there but it looked nice!

Miserable.

I was expecting a very clean room but it was dirty. Dust was everywhere. In addition, because I booked through Booking.com, they placed me in a room with a terrible view. All I could see was the hotel's restaurant roof. I was not happy for the money that I paid. I was expecting something better. What was shown on the internet did not meet my expectations.
